Pangea Aperta was first imagined years ago by Ari and Bartek, but it began to take shape as a real initiative in 2023. Its roots lie in our life experience in Perugia, a small Italian city with a deeply intercultural community, where people from every continent connected in Italian, shared their stories with humility, and lived their values openly.
Inspired by this environment, we realized that the next step was to create a dedicated space and community where people could strengthen their voices, cultivate their values, and actively contribute to a Culture of Peace. Pangea Aperta grew from this vision: a commitment to developing new approaches to languages, cultures, and self-expression that empower individuals and celebrate intercultural dialogue.

Open Places proposes a series of videos focused on transmitting the spiritual and youthful memories of individuals from different parts of the world.

Nuraghi
Nuraghi was an international training course bringing together 18 participants, organized by Co.Wonders (Spain) and four partner organizations – Peace Up! (Germany), Pangea Aperta (Italy), Kazanti (Cyprus) and PA Poland (Poland).

Ari from Pangea facilitated a workshop for immigrant women residing in Perugia, thanks to the support of Arcadi Noè, a cooperative dedicated to supporting immigrant women in Italy.

Photography, both as an expressive medium and a tool, helps us bridge the gaps of indifference through simple images. Our goal is to capture and celebrate ethnic diversity, delve into people’s sense of belonging, and promote understanding and coexistence among different races.

DOCUMENTARY AS INDIANAS
As Indianas explores the diverse experiences of women who have lived through immigration in Galicia. Rosario, Olga, and Rosa will share their stories and tell us about the cultural heritage brought by those “Indianos” who once emigrated to South America or Switzerland.
